Stowford Mill is undergoing a stunning transformation. The Grade II listed former paper mill in South Devon, one of the county’s oldest Mill sites, will once again become a vibrant hub at the heart of Ivybridge.

Burrington Estates’ vision for the eight-acre site involves the sensitive restoration of the old mill building, with its iconic chimney and engine house to create a dynamic, mixed-use development. Part of the skyline of Ivybridge for hundreds of years, Stowford Mill will become a rural version of Plymouth’s redeveloped Royal William Yard.

Nestled in the Erme Valley beside the river, Stowford Mill is framed by mature trees against the backdrop of an impressive railway viaduct dating back to its Victorian heyday. Ivybridge is known as the Gateway to Dartmoor, one of the country’s most stunning national parks and provides a natural playground for walking, horse riding, climbing and cycling.
