Project Description: The Bradford Energy Network is 1Energy’s first low-carbon heat network in Bradford. Expedite are employed to provide Architectural and Engineering Services for this transformative development. 

When completed in Summer 2027 the £70m project will generate heat using one of the largest air source heat pumps in the UK.

The scheme is part of Bradford City Council’s plan to rapidly decarbonise heat in the city, with the aim of generating enough low-carbon heat to supply roughly 10,000 homes. The network will provide a 75% reduction in emissions during Phase 1, which runs until 2030, with aims to reduce emissions further afterwards.
