Mental Health Awareness Week | 13th to 19th May 2024

Expedite is pleased to be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week, an annual event hosted by the Mental Health Foundation. This year, it takes place from 13th – 19th May 2024, with the theme of “Movement: Moving more for our mental health”.

Research shows that regular physical activity can have a positive impact on our mental health. When we exercise, our bodies release feel-good hormones that can reduce anxiety and stress, and improve our sleep quality. By incorporating movement into our daily routines, we can also boost our productivity and focus.

Unfortunately, many people find it challenging to get enough exercise due to various reasons. However, during this Mental Health Awareness Week, we are aiming to help individuals overcome these obstacles and incorporate movement into their everyday lives. You can take a walk in your neighbourhood or around your office area, dance to your best music playlist at home, or do chair exercises while watching your favourite series on Netflix – all of these activities count towards your daily exercise routine.
