Simon Lancaster

Simon leads Expedite Engineering and brings more than 20 years of experience in structural engineering, design and project management. Throughout his career, he has worked on an exceptionally diverse range of projects, from complex, technically challenging structures and major regeneration schemes to residential developments and critical infrastructure projects.

Known for his practical and solutions-focused approach, Simon has built a reputation for finding innovative engineering answers to complex challenges. His expertise spans multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, healthcare, leisure, retail and mixed-use developments, with experience ranging from small-scale projects through to schemes valued in excess of £100 million.

As Managing Director of Engineering, Simon is passionate about delivering designs that are not only technically robust but also commercially intelligent. He works closely with clients, design teams and contractors to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, helping to unlock value, reduce risk and keep developments moving forward.
