Freddy Payne

Freddy Payne graduated from Plymouth University with a BEng (Hons) in Civil & Coastal Engineering in 2016 and has circa 10 years’ experience in highways and infrastructure engineering. He is now a Director at Expedite, bringing extensive technical expertise to the leadership of the business. With a strong technical background and a practical, delivery-focused approach, Freddy supports clients across residential, commercial, and industrial developments from concept through to construction.

Freddy specialises in sustainable drainage design, securing SAB approvals, foul and surface water drainage, and highway infrastructure works, including S278 and S38 agreements. He has led multidisciplinary teams on a wide range of projects and is highly proficient in 3D design software, enabling the efficient development of site levels, road layouts, and cost-effective engineering solutions. Freddy’s experience on complex schemes and his collaborative approach ensure Expedite delivers high-quality, compliant, and commercially focused outcomes for its clients.
