In a stunning triumph at this year’s Exeter Property Awards, Expedite clinched not one but two prestigious accolades for their exceptional work over the past year. The Interior Designer Award and the Transformation Award were both bestowed upon Expedite, solidifying their reputation as industry leaders in creating spaces that seamlessly blend aesthetics and functionality.

The first feather in Expedite’s cap was the coveted Interior Designer Award, a testament to their exemplary work on various projects across the South-West. Notably, their transformative touch on Boutique Student Living caught the eye of the judges, who said that Expedite Interiors is “Making waves in Exeter with new interiors’ offer. Most notably completed a 78-bed accommodation for Boutique Student Living. Strong eye for commercial design.”.

 

Sophie Weeks, the Director of Interior Design at Expedite, expressed her delight at the recognition, stating, “We are thrilled to receive the Interior Designer Award. It’s a testament to the hard work and creative collaboration that defines our team. Boutique Student Living was a particularly exciting project for us, and we’re honoured to see it resonate with the judges and the community.”

Adding to the triumph, Expedite also clinched the Transformation Award for their work on Hotel Indigo Exeter. The project, led by Mike Lister, an accomplished lead architect, showcased a commitment to revitalising spaces while preserving the unique charm of the city. The Judges said “Pivotal in the superb rejuvenation of a former high store into the utterly breath-taking Hotel Indigo – a real asset to the city. Complex, vital regeneration.”

Mike Lister shared his thoughts on the accolade, saying, “Transforming a space requires a keen understanding of its history, purpose, and the people who will interact with it. Hotel Indigo Exeter posed a unique challenge, and receiving the Transformation Award is a recognition of the team’s ability to reimagine and elevate the existing structure into something extraordinary.”
