Since joining Expedite in December 2021, Mike Hallam (Director) has formed a strong Building Services group with a team of five engineers who collectively have over 70 years experience across a variety of sectors. The depth of their experience and expertise means they are fully capable of delivering any level of complexity and scale of project. The addition of this group completes Expedite’s full multi-disc offering.

Our aim is to deliver design solutions holistically to meet not only the environmental conditions but also meet operational and user ambitions which consider the maintenance, life cycle, social impact, safety, aesthetics, running costs, carbon emissions and end user experience.

Clerkenwell Design Week is a yearly festival held in London that showcases the leading UK and international brands of furniture, finishes and more.

Sophie and Susie of Expedite Interiors were excited to attend this jam-packed 2-day celebration and review the upcoming and latest trends filtering into the interior design world.

Sophie Says ‘It is important as designers that we expose ourselves to as many new products and ideas as we can, being based in the South West and Wales we can sometimes be left out of the loop. It is our responsibility to offer our clients the latest innovations and ideas and Clerkenwell is full of these!’

Expedite is delighted to add another core service to its offering by announcing in February 2022 that they are forming an interior design business. Interior design services allow Expedite to add value to our existing projects as well as attract a new array of clients.

Leading the team is Sophie Weeks who has over 10 years of commercial and luxury residential interior experience.
Sophie Says ‘It is a privilege to be asked to create an interior design business as part of the Expedite Group. The values of Expedite very much align with my own which is to deliver excellence and value for our clients. ‘

Over the past 8 months, the interiors business has been steadily growing and working on some exciting projects, including luxury student accommodation. Boutique Student Living Swansea will be the first turn key interiors project to complete in September 2022. With the interiors team not only completing the design for the amenity spaces but also supplying and installing all loose furniture, soft furnishing, homewares and signage.
